Cae Besi top flat loungeCae Besi, a Grade II Listed building, is a large Welsh stone house built in the 1920s for Alvin Langdon Coburn, the father of modern photography. Situated in the Snowdonia National Park, it has two spacious self-contained apartments, both with separate entrances. The house stands in its own terraced gardens, with both apartments affording spectacular sea views of Tremadog Bay and the Llyn Peninsular beyond.

Sunset over Tremadog Bay from Cae BesiSituated on the outskirts of Harlech, the location of a world heritage castle, Cae Besi is within ten minutes walk of a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, and just five minutes away from an indoor swimming pool, a fantastic new indoor climbing wall, and a theatre and cinema.

The house overlooks the Royal St David's Link Golf Course, which is a 10 minute walk away, and miles of sandy beaches. And within easy driving distance are the Ffestiniog and Tal y Llyn railways, the Italianate village of Portmeirion and many other tourist attractions and sight-seeing opportunities. And needless to say, the surrounding North Wales countryside is a walkers paradise.
